Jon and Sam are both ex employees of Hygate Gears.  Hygate Gears was a quality high precision gear and gearbox manufacturing company.  Jon served his apprenticeship at Hygate Gears prior to starting H‘n’C Gears and Manufacturing with Sam in 1995.

We now have the ability to both turn and mill with CNC and manual machines combined with gear hobbing and shaping.

We can manufacture components up to 400 mm dia and 1.5 m in length

We are ex-employees of Hygate Transmissions from Bath who are carrying on with the expertise and reliability that was always associated with the Hygate name.

We have now been running since 2000 and in that time have built up a reputation for good quality work and on time deliveries.

We have many years of Production engineering experience with a workshop area of 2300 sq feet, the services that we can offer you are as follows:-
